For starters, Bigfork lies on the edge of Flathead Lake, the nation's largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Nearby, Eagle Bend Golf Resort offers one of the nation's top courses. After enjoying the outdoors, visitors can sample local shopping and restaurants. The renowned Bigfork Playhouse has been thrilling audiences for more than 35 summers. The 4th of July parade in Bigfork is a long-standing tradition. And in early August, downtown Bigfork hosts the annual Festival of the Arts (more photos).
